About Us
Hey! I'm Amy Riumbau, I'm from Miami and I'm a visual arts student. I have grown up listening to my parent's music, more specifically my dad's love for classical rock. I began playing the piano when I was 11 and from there on out, music has become a big part of my life as an outlet and community. ​
The first time I went to a music festival I was completely enamored by the experience, the people, and the music. It was a feeling I could compare to no other and I knew that I wanted to be a part, if just a small part, of the music community.
Mia introduced me to local music, and I instantly fell in love with it's originality and passionate
community. From that point on, Mia and I have attended multiple local events which introduced us to amazing local talent. We have now created The Underground to support and promote these local bands. We want to give back to the community that has given us great memories and great music, thank you!

Hey there! I’m Mia Rodriguez. I was born and raised in Miami and I am currently furthering my education as a visual artist. Throughout my life, I have been exposed to many different music genres, ranging from classical music all the way to latin rock. I started playing guitar when I was 11 years old and it gave me a whole new perspective on music; it led me to explore different music that I have never known before, and that has been the best feeling.
Since I was little, my parents have been introducing me to the music industry. Not only have I been attending many concerts, festivals, etc., but I have also had the privilege to
meet many musicians, management executives, and highly recognized artists on a personal level.
About two years ago, one of my friends took me to my first local Miami band concert and I fell in love with what it made me feel! Since then, I’ve been attending as many local band shows as possible! Over the past years, Amy and I have bonded over all these amazing local Miami bands. So, we decided to create The Underground, where we can share our love for local music with the world!
